Academic Writing Month, or AcWriMo for short, is a month-long academic write-a-thon that happens every November.
PhD2Published are hosting AcWriMo, which is inspired by the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). AcWriMo caters to the specific needs of academic writers at all stages of their career (from undergrads to the most distinguished of professors) and throughout the month PhD2Published will share dedicated blog posts about academic writing and thousands of tips via Twitter and Facebook.
Participants set themselves a writing goal and get stuck in with all the information, advice and support that’s available from everyone taking part. The month helps participants to:
- Think about how they write,
- Form a valuable support network for writing practice,
- Build better strategies and habits for the future,
- And maybe – just maybe – get stuff done!
