CLAHRC Research Features in Independent Review of NIHR Research on End of Life Care Services

An independent themed review  “Better Endings Right care, right place, right time” features a number of CLAHRC research projects as examples of evidence to support those delivering, planning or using end of life services. CLAHRC East of England Theme Lead Professor Carol Brayne also provided specialist input and advice and is acknowledged within the report.

Examples include local projects completed by CLAHRC East of England Dementia, Frailty and End of Life Theme:

  • Hospice at Home service in Cambridgeshire. An evaluation using mixed methods to understand the experience and impact of a hospice at home service. 
  • Data Sharing at End of Life. An applied health research project which is evaluating an innovative scheme to improveexchange of information for people at end of life in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
