Positive Practice Awards 2016 – Nominations Now Open

The Positive Practice in Mental Health is a user-led collaborative involving seventy organisations, including: Service user groups; NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups; Police Forces; Third sector providers; and front line charities. The group identifies and share positive practice in mental health services by working together across organisations and sectors. They also work to raise the profile of mental health with politicians and policy makers.

They are offering 16 Team / Service Awards for Positive Practice in Mental Health. Categories for the awards include:

  • Older People’s Mental Health
  • Innovation in Child and Young People’s Mental Health
  • Acute Care Pathway
  • Digital Innovation
  • Integrating Physical and Mental Healthcare
  • Early Intervention in Psychosis
  • Patient Experience
  • Mental Health, the Emergency Services and the Criminal Justice System
The ‘Making a Difference’, is an individual award for someone working in health or social care who makes a difference to the lives of people of any age with mental health problems
