The HRA and INVOLVE have published two new resources on public involvement in research.
The Health Research Authority (HRA) is committed to improving the level and quality of public involvement in applications for ethical review and are undertaking a programme of work to support this objective. The HRA Public Involvement Team would like to draw your attention to these two new resources, which they and INVOLVE hope researchers and the public will find interesting and useful:
- Evidence of how public involvement helps to make research more ethical and produce better outcomes. download the pdf
- Considers what aspects of patient and public involvement in a research project are addressed by Research Ethics Committees when researchers apply for ethical review: download the pdf
