HRA intervention to process pre-HRA Approval studies
The Health Research Authority (HRA) have informed the NIHR CRN coordinating centre (CRNCC) that they plan an intense intervention, w/c 8 August, to process a number of pre-HRA Approval studies which have a REC opinion but never made an NHS R&D submission.
Information supplied by the HRA suggests that this is likely to result in an additional 70 to 150 studies overall being received for NIHR CRN Portfolio eligibility review in the next few weeks.
