NIAD study participant talks about her experience

Research by members of the Department of Psychiatry (University of Cambridge) investigating the high risk for Alzheimer’s disease among people with Down’s syndrome was reported on the BBC Today programme. Ms Amy Forgacs, one of the participants talked about her commitment to research relating to Alzheimer’s Disease and her experience of taking part in neuropsychological tests, blood tests, and brain scans. Professor Tony Holland also spoke about the long-term aim of developing treatments to prevent the onset of the disease.
