Research Programme Manager
Band 7 Research Programme Manager, 1.0 fte, fixed term (12 months)
Bristol Eye Hospital is a flagship provider of tertiary ophthalmic services for the Southwest of England, serving a population of approximately 5 million people, and is currently undergoing a period of profound expansion in its research activities.
They are seeking an experienced Research Programme Manager to lead on the planning, coordination and completion of a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) funded Programme Grant for Applied Research: “Cataract Surgery: Measuring and predicting patient level vision related health benefits and harms”.
The post holder will join the Programme during its final year and will be responsible for managing studies within the Programme. You will be involved in all aspects of study conduct, including budgetary planning and management, report writing and engagement with programme stakeholders.
The successful post-holder will be required to adhere to ICH-GCP, Research Governance and local and organisational Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
The post holder will need to be a flexible, motivated team player, with experience of managing clinical studies, research processes and project teams.
The post will be for 1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) for 12 months. Secondments to the position will be considered.
