Norfolk and Waveney CCGs’ Research Capability Funding 2019-20: now open for applications

Invitations for applications to the pooled Research Capability Funding of the Norfolk and Waveney CCGs is now open. This year, the focus is to support the development of grant applications in the following areas:

  • Health behaviours: promotion (including nutrition and exercise) and prevention (weight management, smoking, substance misuse)
  • Harnessing the power of big data across the population
  • Mental health and resilience in children and young people: proactive promotion and prevention in primary care
  • Mental health and isolation in adults and older people
  • Dementia services and support in the community
  • Palliative and end of life care
  • Ageing and multimorbidity / frailty
  • Self-management and self-care for long term conditions
  • Early detection and prevention across disease areas
