Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager (Knowledge Mobilisation) post
From April 2020, a new NIHR centre will be formed to coordinate research dissemination activity and patient and public involvement, participation and engagement in research. By focusing on stakeholder engagement the Centre will broaden the diversity of voices heard by NIHR in all of its activities and pioneer the use of alternative, audience targeted formats for dissemination products. The goal is to make it easier for different stakeholder groups to contribute to and access NIHR funded research. The Centre’s work will be delivered with a diverse community and will involve a wide range of expert collaborators who will provide expertise in patient and public involvement, participation and engagement, knowledge mobilisation, science communication and medical writing.
Job Purpose: The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager (Knowledge Mobilisation) will contribute to strategy and deliver operational management of activities that ensure diverse stakeholder views are incorporated into every aspect of NIHR funded research dissemination, knowledge mobilisation and public involvement.
