The Annual NIHR and Charities Consortium for Hospice and Community Research Conference 2019

Thursday 6 June 2019 (10:30-16:00) at BMA House in London

Registration for the annual NIHR and Charities Consortium for Hospice and Community Research Conference is now open. Registration is free and closes on 15 May 2019. To register please, access the NIHR website.

The Consortium was established in 2017 to bring together the NIHR Clinical Research Network and many of the UK charities which are involved in supportive and palliative care in the hospice and community care setting. The aim of the Consortium is to ensure that the UK becomes a global leader in hospice and community research by 2022.

The Conference programme includes a review of progress made towards meeting the Consortium’s objectives and provides the opportunity to contribute to the future direction of hospice and community care research across the UK with a particular focus on research opportunities for teenage and young adults. The conference will provide the opportunity for researchers from across the UK to present their research as an oral or poster presentation.

During the lunch break, there will be opportunity to review the work of the NIHR and charities as well as posters of selected research projects.
