Association for Research in the Voluntary and Community Sector (ARVAC) Annual Lecture

‘Patient and Public involvement – the role of the community in health and social care research.’

ARVAC is worldwide the oldest national association in the field of community research, its mission to bring together academics, practitioners and policy makers.

They are jointly hosting this event with the University of East Anglia, CLAHRC East of England, CLAHRC South London, Shaping our Lives and The Wellcome Trust. As in previous years, the ARVAC Annual Lecture offers the chance to hear and discuss key issues with eminent speakers from the academic and voluntary and community sectors.

This year’s focus is on Patient and Public Involvement and the role the Community will play in health and social care research.
