‘Co-producing research: How do we do it?’
Thu 5 July 2018, 10am to 4.30pm
Centre for Public Engagement (CPE), Kingston & St Georges (University of London)
The first week of July is the third annual ‘co-production week and festival’ – a week designated by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) as a celebration of all things co-production. The Research Design Service (RDS) South East and INVOLVE have teamed up with various partners to deliver this fantastic event, for researchers and the public, as part of these celebrations.
Using examples from London and the South East, they will be:
- a) Identifying how co-producing research is different from other approaches to involving patients and the public in research
- b) Identifying the things we need to do to enable the co-production of research
- c) Raising awareness of the National Institute for Health Research’s (NIHR) approach to co-producing research, including the recently published ‘Guidance on Co-producing a Research Project’ .
