Co-Production – The Value of Service User, Carer and Public Involvement in Teaching, Learning and Research

Tuesday 3 July, 2018 – 10am to 4.30pm

College Lane Campus, Hatfield

The University of Hertfordshire are pleased to invite you to this full day event showcasing service user, carer and public involvement.

It will encompass plenary sessions, presentations and workshops as well as an opportunities to network with other delegates and visit a marketplace of posters and materials.

The event is hosted by the University of Hertfordshire’s School of Health and Social Work in collaboration with the School of Life and Medical Sciences, and its Service User and Public Involvement (SUPI) Core Group.

All are welcome to attend, including service users, carers, academics, researchers and anyone interested in public involvement in teaching learning and research.

Confirmed speakers for the day:

  • Gary Hickey (INVOLVE) and Tracey Johns (Research Design Service, East of England) –
    “Co-producing research: principles, practice and partnerships”
  • Iain MacBeath, (Director of Adult Care Services, Hertfordshire County Council) and members from the co-production board – “Co-Production, not Consultation!”
