CPFT Research Event – invitation to contribute!
On Thursday 30th March 5:00-8:30pm we are hosting the annual CPFT Research Event. This is event is open to all and will be an opportunity to engage staff and members of the public in research relating to mental health, dementia and older people’s care. The event has three parts: an exhibition space, speakers, and an Images of Research competition. A flier is attached with further information – please do save the date!
We are inviting you to contribute to the Images of Research competition. Entries are invited from any researcher/project relevant to CPFT services (adult, child and adolescent mental health; dementia; older people’s and adult community services; learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental services). Visitors to the event will be invited to vote for the best image during the evening.
All you need to do is:
1) Capture an aspect of your research in a single original image
2) Support your image with up to 150 words explaining how your image represents your work
3) E-mail your image to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please ensure the image is your own photo or original drawing/painting/graphic, and that appropriate consent is obtained if individuals are identifiable. For inspiration, please find a selection of last year’s contributions attached.
The closing date for entries is Monday 13th February. The images & text will be released via CPFT social media (e.g. public website, Twitter) prior to the event and displayed on Thursday 30th March 5:00pm-8:30pm. We hope this exercise will also prove useful for your own engagement activities.
