Emerging Minds Kick Off Event – East of England
Monday 20 January 2020, 2 – 4.40pm; Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
The Emerging Minds Network is a mental health research network funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) with the aim of encouraging research across sectors and disciplines. The aim is to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems amongst children and young people through mental health promotion, prevention and early treatment.
The Emerging Minds Network has a fund of £500,000 in total to share to enable research collaborations. Four Research Challenges have been prioritised from the questions that young people, families, practitioners and policy makers have said are most important and pressing.
The co-hosts for this meeting are Dr Niamh O’Brien and Anna Dadswell of Anglia Ruskin University, Professor Tamsin Ford from the University of Cambridge, Dr Tim Clarke, Dr Brioney Gee and Dr Laura Pass from Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and the University of East Anglia.
The objectives of the event are:
