Medication Safety in Frail Older People Symposium

The medication safety in older people symposium aims to scope and identify priority areas for medication safety to design sustainable improvements in promoting and ensuring medication safety within the East of England region.

This multidisciplinary symposium will include contributions from colleagues in practice across HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE. Priorities for future work and current gaps will be explored to identify both current and potential quality improvement strategies and innovation in practice in this area. Collective theme(s) and proposed action of work synthesised from the symposium will be put forward as priorities for the Patient Safety Collaborative work stream on Medication Safety.

Participants are encouraged to send a summary (250 words) of current work they are involved with and/or wish to discuss at the symposium. Please send by
the 23rd of February 2017 to n.e.umaru@herts.ac.uk

Please also submit your abstract for posters which can be brought and displayed on the day to facilitate discussions.

Networking lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Facilitated group discussions will be held.
