Thursday 18 January 2018 – Stamford Court, Oadby, LE2 2LH
Multimorbidity is now the clinical norm within primary care. It is a complex phenomenon requiring multi-faceted strategies and interventions to improve outcomes. This event will showcase the multimorbidity work across all CLAHRCs and to stimulate further discussion and initiate cross-CLAHRC collaborations to take multimorbidity research forward and devise novel solutions to tackle multimorbidity in the UK.
The aim of this event is to provide an opportunity for researchers, clinicians’ and other colleagues from the 13 CLAHRCs to discuss current research being conducted and future challenges and opportunities in the field of multi morbidity research.
Attendance is encouraged from colleagues of the following groups/bodies that are involved with multi morbidity research:
- Health care professionals and commissioners involved in management of people with multimorbidity
Each CLAHRC that takes part will initially have a limit of eight places on a first come, first served basis. Registrations will close on Friday 12 January 2018.
The event is free to attend, however travel expenses and costs for accommodation will need to be covered by the individual’s respective CLAHRC or employing organisation.
