NIHR CLAHRCs ‘Ageing and Research’ Event

25 April 2018 – Novotel, SOUTHAMPTON

Hosted by the NIHR CLAHRC and the AHSN for Wessex

The event is designed to bring together members of the NIHR CLAHRCs, partner organisations and a cross section of industry in a one-day conference.

Who should attend?

· STPs
· Vanguards
· Improvement staff
· NHS clinical staff and managers
· Patients and carers

The programme for the day will include a welcome and keynote address, followed by sessions on:
· Volunteer programmes
· Dementia modelling and digital interfaces
· Research in practice
· Frailty
· Compassionate Care
· Community Care
· Future research for local ageing populations

In addition, there will be a series of CLAHRC 10 minute presentations and Q&A.

NIHR CLAHRCs will be invited to submit abstracts on their research projects. All members of the CLAHRCs and organisations involved in one way or another in ‘Ageing and Research’  are encouraged to book a free place for this event.
