Outreach Opportunity

26 – 27 April 2017

Do you want to inspire the next generation?

Wanting to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) to local students?

Do you love volunteering and working with children?

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then this is the event for you.

On the 26th and 27th April (8:30 – 15:30) Cambridge LaunchPad, delivered by Form the Future, will be running the STARS Festival for 120 Year 4 (aged 9 – 10) students.

The aim of the day is to get the students excited about STEM careers through a number of fun and interactive activities. The activities will include creating electric cars, parachute design, and assembling & racing chariots.

This is where we need your help. Your role will be to help run the sessions and offer your help to the students.

The event is open to all professionals, not only STEM, but places are limited so if you are interested please register asap.
