‘SpeakOut’ LGBTQ young people in care study – animated short film premiere at Norwich Pride

Saturday 28 July 11.30am to 12.30pm

The Forum Auditorium, Norwich.

Come see the premier of this new short animated film about the findings of ‘SpeakOut’ – a national study of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and questioning (LGBTQ) young people’s experiences of growing up in the care system. It will part of the Norwich Pride celebrations on the 28th July.

Jeanette Cossar at the University of East Anglia (UEA) leads the study, which is the first and largest research project of its kind in England. A group of young researchers, who identify as part of the LGBTQ community and spent time living in care, made the film with UEA and the Creative Research Collective.
