The East of England Public Health Conference 2018

Tuesday 30th October – 10:00 to 16:00 – Stansted

This conference, organised by Public Health England, the Faculty of Public Health and the Association of Directors of Public Health will examine the evolving challenges that affect public health action and explore how to better equip public health professionals to meet and overcome such barriers now and in the future. The conference will provide a forum for the public health community in the East of England to network, learn and celebrate innovative work in the region while exploring the potential impact of Brexit, devolution and other national policies on local public health action and influence.

Abstract submission deadline – Friday 14 September 2018
The conference is a great opportunity to showcase work at a regional level through poster and oral presentations. Abstract submissions about public health projects or pieces of work that have recently been conducted on any aspect of public health within the East of England are welcome. Registration and coffee will be from 09:30 to 09:55 and the conference will run from 10:00 to 16:00.
