Webinar Involving patients in their own safety: Research findings and recommendations for action

You can now register for the Health Foundation webinar ‘Involving patients in their own safety’ which draws on new insights from research funded by the Health Foundation.

The webinar will explore:

  • the rationale for involving patients in their own safety
  • how patients and clinicians conceptualise safety
  • facilitators and barriers to patient involvement in safety

Research overall found there was a recognisable theme that patients and carers are willing and able to be involved in ensuring their own safety; but we need to ensure that systems, processes and culture enable this across a range of settings.
