Involving young people in research: Collaborative approaches Workshop
Thursday 10 December 2015, 10am to 11.30am
Herchel Smith Building, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge
This is a workshop being run by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) Service User and Carer Research Group. Practical aspects of involving young people in research will be covered from the perspective of the young people involved, the people supporting their involvement, and the wider research team.
The presenters will talk about the participatory research methods they used in their studies to involve young people most effectively in the various stages of the research process.
This is the first in a series of workshops on service user and carer involvement in research that CPFT are running over the next three months. The workshops will be relevant to researchers, service users and carers and clinicians interested in collaborative research.
