About
Dr Alice Shiner gained her MBChB (Hons) at the University of Manchester in 2003 and holds a BSc (Hons) in International Health from University College London (2002). She also holds a Masters in Clinical Education from the University of East Anglia (2011) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She is an academic GP, dividing her time between research, education and clinical practice. Her current research interests focus on multimorbidity, care planning, shared decision making and the GP workforce. She has expertise in qualitative research that she gained through her Masters study, which explored the transition from training to qualified GP practice. Alice was also a GP Research Fellow at Norwich Medical School, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of East Anglia.
